Surface



Taiga

Mainly flat with occasional hills and many glacial boulders, as well as massive outcrops. It is filled entirely with Pine Trees, some of which can grow to 60m tall. Podzol patches are common.

Swamp
A flat biome with many small ponds covered in Lilypads. Mangrove Trees are the primary type of tree, however they do not grow as densely as in other biomes.

Tundra
Extremely flat area with permafrost rather than dirt and low-growing grass. Pine Trees are exceedingly rare.



Cavern

Overgrown Caves Large, underground caverns filled with many types of moss and fungi. They typically form a vertical layout with branching paths. Water often trickles down from the ledges.
Lava Caves Large caverns filled with black rock and flowing lava. It frequently intersects with Underwater Volcanoes, usually by having one drip lava into the other.




Aquatic



Reef

Between 80m and 120m. Very rocky, and shaped similarly to a pit, with occasional seamounts and plateaus. Brine Pools form frequently.



Abyss

Between 100m and 300m. Very rocky and reminiscent of a large cavern. It is extremely dark, resembling the real-world mesopelagic zone. There are many hydrothermal vents.
Underwater Volcano Between 80m and 200m. It’s formed by large lava flows and actual underwater volcanoes.  It frequently intersects with Lava Caves, usually by having one drip lava into the other.
